
Kingman filly out of Finsceal Beo makes €500,000 at Goffs Orby
A Kingman filly out of champion Finsceal Beo was the second highest-priced filly on day one of Goffs Orby Sale yesterday.
Consigned by Micheal Ryan's Al Eile Stud is a half-sister to five winners including Gr.2 winner Ol'Man River. Bought for €500,000 by Johnny Murtagh and Eddie Linehan she was the second highest-priced filly of the day. Murtagh commented: "She's a nice filly for a new syndicate in the yard and hopefully she's one for the Goffs Million."
Lot 11, the only Bated Breath yearling offered at Goffs Orby sale, realised €75,000 for consignor Glenvale Stud. The handsome colt is a grandson of 1000 Guineas winner Harayir and was bought by Johnny McKeever and trainer Charlie Hills.
Expert Eye posted another pleasing first crop result when a colt out of Group winning Gower Song sold to Niall Brennan for €52,000.
