Directions from London/Cambridge via the A11 or A14 (from the West)

From the A11 turn off for Newmarket on the A1304 at Six Mile Bottom and follow signs to Newmarket.

From the A14 turn off for Newmarket on the A1303 to Quy and Newmarket. In either case you arrive at a roundabout with a large statue of a horse in the middle. Follow the A1304 into Newmarket.

As you enter Newmarket you start going down a hill, continue straight on to the High Street, at the end of the High Street you will reach the Clock Tower roundabout. Turn right at the round about onto the B1063 (Cheveley Road). Continue straight on until you reach a T Junction by a pub called "The Wellington." Here you turn left and then immediately right onto Duchess Drive. Continue along this road for approx 3 miles to Saxon Street, opposite "Rutland Stud" and next to a small Methodist Chapel, turn left to Cheveley. Continue for approx 0.5 mile and Banstead Manor is on the right hand side.

To the Offices: The entrance to the stud is via a pair of wooden gates which will open automatically as you drive up to them. To get to the Offices, bear immediately left and keep left until you come to the front of a large red-brick house.

Directions from Bury St Edmunds/Ely

The main roads from both Bury (A1304) and Ely (A142) bring you into the centre of Newmarket at the Clocktower mini-roundabout at the north eastern end of Newmarket High Street. From this mini-roundabout take the B1063 signposted for Ashley. Follow this road, passing Warren Hill gallops on your left. At the end of the road "The Wellington" is on the corner on the left hand side. Turn left and then immediately right across this staggered junction and onto Duchess Drive. Continue along this road for approx 3 miles to Saxon Street, opposite "Rutland Stud" and next to a small Methodist Chapel, turn left to Cheveley. Continue for approx 0.5 mile and Banstead Manor is on the right hand side.

To the Covering Yard: Drive a further 350 metres (passing a thatched cottage and bungalow on right) and turn right then immediate right into the Covering Yard.
