€66,800 Goffs Orby yearling average for Expert Eye

Yearlings from Expert Eye's first crop sold well at Goffs Orby Sale with an average of €66,800 for five sold.

Heading the list was lot 400 a bay filly from the family of multiple stakes winner and Gr.1 performer Imaging (Oasis Dream) and a half-sister to a two-year-old winner. Bred by Springbank Way Stud she made €80,000 selling to Oak Tree Farm.

A duo of fillies, destined for a career in the US, made €70,000 each. Lot 442, is the second foal out of a full sister to Champion older sprinter in Europe Slade Power. She was bought by Marquee Bloodstock Agency for US trainer Gustavo Delgado. Lot 371, consigned by Rathbarry Stud was one of a quartet of yearlings purchased by US trainer Kenny McPeek.

Another filly, lot 421, sold to BBA Ireland for €62,000 and a colt out of Group winner Gower Song made €52,000 when purchased by American-based trainer Niall Brennan.
