Thesis breaks his maiden in the Britannia Stakes

Thesis (Kingman) was towards the rear early on but made rapid headway on the far side to lead inside the final furlong and just held off the challenge of the runner-up to score by a head and get off the mark at the fifth attempt.

He is a half-brother to Gr.1 Fillies’ Mile winner Quadrilateral (Frankel) and a full-brother to the French Listed-placed Boardman. They are out of the winning Mizzen Mast mare Nimble Thimble, dam of two other winners. The grandam of the winner is the US Listed-placed juvenile winner Skiable (Niniski), dam of seven other winners, including US Gr.2 winner and multiple Gr.1-placed sire Three Valleys (Diesis), Gr.3-placed chaser and juvenile winner Derwent (Mizzen Mast) and Back Pass (Quest For Fame; dam of Australian Gr.3 winner and Gr.1- placed sire Scissor Kick and the Listed scorer and dual Gr.3- placed sire Sharkbite).

The third dam is the winning Kerali (High Line), producer of six other winners, including the Listed-winning juvenile Hasili (Kahyasi; dam of muliple Gr.1 winner Banks Hill, who produced Gr.1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Romantica), multiple Gr.1 winner and sire Champs Elysees, dual Gr.1 winner Intercontinental, dual US Gr.1 winners Cacique and Heat Haze (who produced Gr.1 winner Mirage Dancer), Gr.2 winner and dual Gr.1-placed Champion Sire Dansili and Gr.3 winner and Gr.1 Prix Saint-Alary-placed Deluxe). She also produced the unraced Dissemble (Ahonoora; dam of multiple Gr.1 winner and sire Leroidesanimaux). Nimble Thimble has a yearling colt and a colt foal both by Frankel.
