Record-breaking sale for Bated Breath yearling

The Bated Breath filly made 600,000gns at Tattersalls Book 1 yesterday when she sold to Godolphin, a record for her sire and his seventh six-figure yearling sold this year.

Lot 333, a half-sister to Gr.2 Champagne Stakes and Gr.2 Summer Mile Stakes winner Chindit, provided her sire with a 600,000gns sale to Godolphin. Bred by J C Bloodstock and Rory Mahon, she was sold by Michael Fitzpatrick of Kilminfoyle House Stud is out of the Oasis Dream mare Always A Dream and hails from the family of Champion Three-Year-Old Motivator and Group 2 winner Macarthur.
