The colt who hails from the family of Champion Querari (Oasis Dream) was purchased by Anthony Stroud on behalf of Godolphin.

It was at this sale last year that Anthony Stroud, bidding on behalf of Godolphin, came away with the unbeaten Champion Two-Year-Old Native Trail (Oasis Dream) and the operation will be hopeful that lightning can strike twice after landing another yesterday, Lot 47, from the draft of Johnny Collins’s Brown Island Stables.
The colt represents a fusion of two Juddmonte stalwarts, being the first foal out of an unraced Dansili mare Queimada. In turn, she possesses strong Gestüt Fährhof bloodlines, as a half-sister to champion Querari, a Gr.1-winning son of Oasis Dream, and US Gr.2 winner Quidura. With that page in mind, the colt was well bought by Collins at €58,000 at last year’s BBAG September Yearling Sale.
“He’s a very nice horse with a good pedigree,” said Stroud after outbidding Michael O’Callaghan. “He was beautifully produced by Johnny Collins, he does an excellent job, and this horse did very sectionals. I thought it was a very good, progressive breeze.”
