Nine length victory for Kingman's Mr Moliere

Kingman three-year-old Mr Moliere made an eye-catching debut at Chantilly yesterday, reaching the line with a nine length winning margin.

Taken from the Thoroughbred Daily News, 7th February 2023:

The André Fabre-trained gelding was sent off the 9-10 favourite and tanked his way to the front after the first three furlongs. In front before two out, the bay was soon clear and was heavily eased as he hit the line with nine lengths to spare over Highland Archer. The winner is the second foal and first runner for his dam, Armande, who captured the Gr.2 Prix Corrida and was third in the Gr.1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud. She is a daughter of Alpine Snow, who was successful in the Listed Prix Urban Sea named after her famous relative and who was also third in the Gr.3 Prix Fille de l'Air. Armande, who is through Urban Sea related to her
sire Sea The Stars, also has a two-year-old full-sister to the winner named Mlle Moliere - also in training with Fabre.
