Love Is You remains unbeaten

A novice winner on her sole start last month, the unexposed Love Is You provided a solid victory for her owner-breeders to win the Listed Radley Stakes yesterday over 7f at Newbury.

The juvenile daughter of Kingman raced in the middle of the pack behind the leading Little Kitten (Sea The Stars). Switching left to find some air, Love Is You hit the front and kept on to defy the deteriorating conditions to get up by three and a half lengths.

Gift List (Bated Breath) had provided a challenge to the one furlong pole but was unable to match the winner, settling for second place, while Little Rollright (Dutch Art) headed the remainder of the field, a further seven and a half lengths back in third.

Owned and bred by Normandie Stud Ltd, Love Is You is a half-sister to the Newbury and Meydan Gr.2 winner Glorious Journey (Dubawi), out of the Gr.1 Coronation Stakes heroine Fallen For You (Dansili). ​
