Listed win for Techno Music at Hoppegarten

Oasis Dream filly Techno Music took her first stakes win in the Listed  Hoppegartener Steher-Preis on Saturday (13th August).

The 1800m Listed Hoppegartener Steher-Preis was the feature race on the card at Hoppegarten on Saturday and it was won by the Peter Schiergen-trained Techno Music.

The four-year-old daughter of Oasis Dream settled in third as First Vision made the running. There was little change to the order until they swung for home 500m out. Pushed along before then, Techno Music began to stay on and got a lovely run up the inside before fending off Penja, who had raced outside her the whole way, by a length and a quarter.

This was a fourth win for Techno Music, who was unraced at two and warmed up for this with a handicap win at Hamburg. Bred by Gestüt Brümmerhof, she is the first foal out of the triple Listed winner and Gr.2-placed Techno Queen, whose own dam is a half-sister to the Gr.1 winner and sire Turfkonig.
