Quadruple (Frankel) captured the first higher-level win of her career in the Gr.3 Ontario Fashion Stakes at Woodbine on Saturday.

The five-year-old mare headed to the races late in her juvenile career by going out for the yard of Ger Lyons where she competed exclusively in Ireland. The bay was consigned by Juddmonte and purchased for 210,000gns out of the Tattersalls December Mixed Sale in 2025.
New owner Mark Dodson sent Quadruple to trainer Josie Carroll and her new charge headed straight into the graded fray at Woodbine. The mare was third in the Gr.3 Whimsical Stakes, then was well-beaten in the Gr.3 Royal North Stakes and in the Gr.2 Nassau Stakes. She finished third in the Gr.3 Seaway Stakes and was last seen running second in the Sweet Briar Too Stakes.
Overlooked at the windows as a 16-1 shot here, Quadruple hesitated after the break, but she used her speed to find a nice spot along the rail in the third flight up the backstretch. The Carroll trainee watched as Spinelli (Upstart) was doing her best to run the field off their feet. Quadruple had plenty in the tank as she entered the far turn though. Jockey Ryan Munger skillfully handled his mount as she scraped the paint spinning into the lane. Let loose with aplomb, Quadruple shifted to the two path and started to make her move on favorite Creed's Gold (Jimmy Creed) inside the final furlong. The Dodson-owned mare sparkled as she cruised to get her picture taken.
Frankel now has his 131st Graded/Group worldwide winner. As for Quadruple's dam, the Ontario Fashion Stakes victress is her first foal. Soffia handed the winner a full-sister in 2022 named Glistening (GB) and a full-brother, Noble Presence (GB), in 2024 who is unraced. She was covered by Kingman for next term.
