EuropeExpert Eye filly fetches €180,000
A filly from the first crop of Gr.1 winning miler Expert Eye was among the top sellers at the Goffs November Foal Sale yesterday (20th December).
Lot 600 is a half-sister to two Group winners, Burnt Sugar (Lope De Vega) and Brown Sugar (Tamayuz). Consigned by Ballylinch Stud, the filly was purchased by Yeomanstown Stud for €180,000, with Juddmonte as the underbidders.
In total Expert Eye had nine lots sell for an average of over €46,000. Also among them was lot 711, an attractive colt out of Rickrack consigned by the Irish National Stud and sold to Ballyhimikin Stud for €75,000.
