Trained in Ireland until early last year, he picked up three Listed places last summer, but was recording his first Stakes win yesterday. Bred by Cecil and Miss Alison Wiggins, he is the best of the four winners out of a placed half-sister to the Gr.2 Lowther Stakes winner Jemima (Owington) and his grandam is also the third dam of this year’s Gr.1 1,000 Guineas heroine Cachet (Aclaim). The third dam is a winning half-sister to the Gr.2-winning sprinter and sire Runnett.
