60th Stakes winner for Kingman

Mashhoor (Kingman) claimed his second win in less than a month, this time taking blacktype honours in the Listed Orby Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday.

Formerly with Sir Michael Stoute, Mashhoor showed a liking to the Curragh when taking a Premier Handicap at last year's Irish Guineas meeting and was able to add another at Cork when he was last seen in April. Tracking the leader Annerville throughout the
early stages, the bay usurped that rival with two furlongs remaining and stayed on strongly to open his blacktype account.

Becoming the 60th stakes winner for his sire, Mashhoor's Group 3-placed dam is also responsible for the Gr.3 Premio Mario Incisa della Rocchetta winner Faciascura and the Listed scorers Finidaprest and Fambrus (Oasis Dream).
