2027 U.S. Stallion fees announced

Juddmonte Farms has announced the 2027 stud fees for its U.S. stallion roster, headed by two-time Eclipse Champion ELITE POWER, who will stand for $25,000 Live Foal Stands and Nurses, and Kentucky Derby (Gr.1) winner MANDALOUN, whose fee has been set at $10,000 Live Foal Stands and Nurses.

Two-time Breeders’ Cup Sprint (Gr.1) winner ELITE POWER, the only son of Curlin to win Eclipse Awards in consecutive years, has firmly established himself among the leading freshman yearling sires in the commercial marketplace in 2026. His highly anticipated debut yearling crop includes an $800,000 colt at last month's Keeneland September Sale, representing one of the three highest-priced colts by a freshman at the prestigious auction. His fillies have proven equally popular, led by a $550,000 offering at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Sale, one of the two highest-priced fillies by a freshman at that elite sale.

The striking chestnut has been exceptionally well received by breeders and buyers alike, having covered an average of 165 mares in each of his first three seasons at stud. His first crop of two-year-olds are set to hit the track in 2027.

MANDALOUN has made a promising start with his first crop of two-year-olds to race in 2026, already siring 12 individual winners, including multiple black-type winners. His progeny continue to gather momentum as the fall racing season progresses, highlighted by a pair of new winners on Thursday, including When I Go, who impressively broke his maiden by five and three-quarter lengths in a seven-furlong maiden special weight on dirt at Keeneland. Mandaloun himself broke his maiden at Keeneland in October of his juvenile season.

The Kentucky Derby (Gr.1) and Haskell Stakes (Gr.1) winner by Into Mischief is already represented by undefeated Graded Stakes Winner Observed, who captured last month's Del Mar Juvenile Turf (Gr.3) and has emerged as a contender for the $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (Gr.1) at Keeneland. Mandaloun’s promising first-crop fillies to date are led by Rum Twist, an impressive maiden winner at Saratoga who subsequently finished runner-up in the storied Frizette Stakes (Gr.1) at Belmont Park. She is also targeting the Breeders' Cup later this month in Lexington, with the $2 million Juvenile Fillies (Gr.1) in her sights.
