Pleasing returns for Frankel and Kingman at Inglis Easter Yearling Sale

The conclusion of this year's Inglis Easter Yearling Sale today (7th April) saw a Kingman colt reach A$600,000 and a Frankel colt and filly realise A$420,000 and A$400,000 respectively.

Lot 223, a Kingman colt out of Bound Copy was purchased by Aramco Racing from Singapore for A$600,000. The colt, who comes from the family of  Australian Horse of the Year Bound Away, was bred by Amelia Park Racing & Breeding and was consigned by Segenhoe Stud.

The Frankel colt out of Isleham (lot 358) made A$420,000. He was bred by Yu Long who also bred Frankel filly Hungry Heart, the winner of the Gr.1 Vinery Stud Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday (3rd April). The second most expensive Frankel yearling (A$400,000) was a filly out of Listed winner Baby Pink bred by Glentree Pastoral and was purchased by a partnership headed by trainers Robbie Griffiths and Mathew de Kock.
