Petricor a new Listed winner for Frankel

Homebred filly Petricor prevailed in the Listed Prix Finlande at ParisLongchamp this afternoon becoming sire Frankel's third stakes winner in as many days.

In her last run Petricor came second to another daughter of Frankel, Rumi, in the Gr.3 Prix Vanteaux last month. She is the first foal from stakes performer Ruscombe and hails from a family packed with Group winners including Derby and Arc de Triomphe winner Workforce and St Leger winner Brian Boru.

The Andre Fabre-trained filly holds Gr.1 entries for the Oaks at Epsom, the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches, Prix Saint Alary (both ParisLongchamp) and the Prix de Diane (Chantilly).
