Domestic Spending dead heats in Gr.1 Turf Classic

Domestic Spending (Kingman) won his second Grade 1 race in a thrilling dead heat finish with Colonel Liam at Churchill Downs today.

Chad Brown-trained Domestic Spending won the Gr.1 Hollywood Derby as a two-year-old in November 2020. He has now won five of his six starts for owners Klaravich Stables, who purchased him at Tattersalls October Book 1 yearling sale.

A late surge to the line saw him draw level with Colonel Liam to dead heat in the Gr.1 Turf Classic.
