His dam Silver Step (Silver Frost) was a Gr.3 winner in Italy over 1600m and scored at Listed level over 2000m in France the following year. Unsold at €225,000 at Arqana at the end of her racing career, she was bought for $100,000 by BBA Ireland at Keeneland in 2018 and this gelding is her first foal. She is a half-sister to the 11-time Scandinavian winner Beentheredonethat (High Chaparral) and Mai Pen Rai (Whipper), a four-time winner in the same region, and is the best of the five winners out of the Scandinavian champion filly Negra Del Oro (Danehill Dancer). The third dam Notenqueen (Turfkönig), who produced two other winners, is a winning half-sister to Gr.2 winner and high-class NH sire Network (Monsun) and to the dam of the Classic-placed Gr.2 victrix Nordtanzerin.
